Please Consider Volunteering
Cub Scouting is fun for the whole family. Getting everyone involved makes the experience more meaningful for your Cub Scout. There is a place for every parent, legal guardian, or other caring adults who want to help. Often the challenge is not knowing how to help. Below are some helpful steps in how you can volunteer.

Not Everyone Wears a Uniform
In Cub Scouting there are so many opportunities to volunteer. You want to get involved, but you’re not sure where to start. Here is a step-by-step guide to get you started. Remember not every volunteer in Cub Scouting wears a uniform. Everyone has different skills and ways they can contribute to make the Cub Scouting experience meaningful. No matter how you want to get involved, thank you for making the first move to volunteer with Cub Scouts.

When you volunteer your time:

  • The annual dues for your Cub Scout are waived ($125 value)
  • There is a minimal time commitment (can vary per position)
  • You gain the ability to have input and guide the direction of the Pack
  • It is often a 1-year commitment (can vary per position)

Open Positions:

  • Communication Chair: Obtain Roundtable info (1x per month) and ensure proper announcements are made through Pack and Den Mtg. Maintain webpage/calendar and coordinate email communication. Encourage leader/parent use of Facebook.
  • Activities Coordinator: Organizes and manages the committee which plans for the Blue & Gold Banquet, Pinewood Derby, Scouting for Food, Etc.
  • Assistant Den Leader: Assists the Den Leader in planning and running the Den meetings.
  • Multiple positions will open in 2024-2025, inquire to find out more.
